INA MAKA O TIPI - "LIVING WITH MOTHER EARTH" A documentary that investigates the political and economic intersections that have shaped land-tenure for the past 120 years on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota and how those policies have fractionated the land and alienated the Lakota people from their land-base. This film seeks to demystify the process of reclaiming Lakota lands from the BIA leasing system helping to return the balance between economy, ecology, and culture.
